Study Buddy Program I
This four-week online program is designed for female high school students to learn how to code in Java and create game project on Replit. Throughout the four weeks, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Build their own maze game

  • Learn about the fundamental of Java and different features on Replit

  • Explore web development, cyber security, data science, and artificial intelligence

  • Ask questions! Each meeting will be split into small breakout rooms, with a student-to-instructor ratio of 10:1.

During the workshop, students were encouraged to take positive risks as they collaborate with other students to strengthen their resilience, intellectual curiosity, emotional intelligence, and sense of empowerment.

                    Hour of Code Workshop 2024

An online three-days coding workshop during the week of Thanksgiving for 6th-8th graders. By the end of the course, students will...

  • Receive a course completion certificate.

  • Acquire a basic understanding of Python.

  • Able to identify basic variables and data types.

  • Provide an understanding of the role computation can play in solving problems.

  • Build a network with other students involved in this workshop.

  • Get to know Python dictionaries by creating a model of the solar system.
