Executive Director and Founder
Cifei He
Cifei is a rising senior at Tallwood High School. As a girl and first-generation, low-income (FGLI) student, she understands the importance of mentorship and believes everyone should have equal access to academic resources. She created PinkGap to help achieve gender equality and quality education. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and having picnics with her friends. She is excited to continue empowering students and creating meaningful change through education!

Human Resources Manager
Alice White
Alice is a senior at Horace Mann School who values meaningful connections and strives to be a supportive friend to those around her. At school, she enjoys being part of a positive and engaging community. In her free time, she loves listening to Taylor Swift, spending time with friends and family, and sharing her love for music. She has a strong passion for community service and is motivated by the prospect of empowering all women, especially young girls.

Social Media Manager
Bella Shao
Bella is a freshman at the University of Chicago with a passion for psychology and neuroscience. Through PinkGap, she’s excited to connect with others and contribute to girls' education by sharing her knowledge and experiences. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, listening to music, and playing with her dog. Bella is thrilled to support and inspire students on their learning journeys!

Shivani Ramkumar
Shivani is a rising junior from North Carolina with a long-standing passion for STEM and engineering. She serves as the Event Director of PinkGap, where she works with her team to host speaker sessions, encourage female participation in STEM, and tutor members of the community. In her free time, she enjoys connecting with others and learning from inspiring people. Shivani is excited to make a meaningful impact through education and outreach!

Juliana Qiu
Juliana is a senior at Joel Barlow High School with a strong passion for making a positive impact in her community. As the Fundraising Director at PinkGap, she is dedicated to organizing meaningful campaigns that support scholarships, mentorship, and educational opportunities for young women. In her free time, she enjoys contributing to causes that make a difference. Juliana is excited to continue empowering others through her work and inspire change through education.

Melanie Sanchez Romero
Melanie is a senior at Hoover High School with a passion for reading, writing, and coding. Melanie has always been passionate about giving back to the community, especially to girls in her area. She is committed to making the STEM field more inclusive for minorities and values the opportunity to support and inspire others. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new ideas and sharing her knowledge. Melanie is excited to tutor and help students discover their potential in STEM!
